The Finale is coming.. The Name of The Doctor

After a staggeringly good 2nd half of the seventh season we are now about to face the very last episode of the season, The Name of The Doctor. They say his secret will be revealed, obviously pointing towards his name. But is it? I don't think so. Doctor Who wouldn't quite be Doctor Who anymore would it? This could have quite a serious impact on the show, and I don't think it would be good. But then again, I'm no Steven Moffat. Saturday we will find out all about The Doctor, and possibly impossible Clara.

Doctor Who season 7 part 2 has started!
Finally the second part of the seventh season has started with all new companion: Clara Oswin Oswald (Played by Jenna-Louise Coleman) We've got a lot to look forward to this season, as The Doctor will be back with an all new companion (And according to lead write Steven Moffat, this will make for a different Doctor too!). Also, the brand new TARDIS will be extensively explored in Episode 11: 'Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS'. And as if that weren't enough, later this year the 50th anniversary will air, with (officially confirmed) 10th Doctor David Tennant & his lovely companion: Rose Tyler (Billie Piper). Probably the version of them from the other universe, with the ageing, human version of the 10th Doctor (Although that's just what I think). So make sure that for the coming weeks your schedule on Saturdays between 18:15-19:00 GMT is clear. (That's 19:15-20:00 in Holland here (+1 GMT))
Chrome waves goodbye to webkit, starts their own engine

That's right, Google is abandoning the world famous webkit for their very own engine: 'Blink', a webkit fork. Google is looking to strip the engine clean of unnecessary code for the sake of performance. While this will be great for users of the browser this will give webdevelopers the pain of even more engine's to develop for. Webkit(Safari, older versions of chrome, most mobile browsers), Gecko(Firefox), Presto(Opera, although they will soon be switching to webkit), trident (the real pain that is Internet Explorer) & now Blink (for the newer Chrome builds). When google will be making the switch is yet to be unveiled. But as far as I'm concerned..

Update: Opera has announced that they too will be going to Blink rather than webkit, looks like this is going to be the hip new engine on the web.
